The Lakewood Water rescue Team today held a training exercise at Lake Carasaljo, simulating a person drowning in the frozen lake.

The team is comprised of members of the LPD, Lakewood First Aid and Lakewood EMS squads.

Chaveirim was called to assist in drilling through the ice.
