- An IDF reservist officer was seriously wounded by gunfire from Palestinian terrorists in the northern Gaza Strip overnight, the military said Wednesday.

- The IDF carried out several airstrikes on the Gaza Strip overnight killing 21. The IDF admitted that it had likely mistakenly killed a number of Palestinian civilians during the retaliatory strikes.

- A senior Palestinian Islamic Jihad commander was killed in an Israeli airstrike in the central Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian media reports.

- IDF forces attacked today the commander of the Nukhba platoon in Hamas, who led the raid on Kibbutz Nir Oz and probably participated in holding hostages and fallen soldiers in captivity. IDF and Shin Bet: The strike was in response to the terrorists' shooting last night at an IDF officer in the northern Gaza Strip.

- State prosecutors charged 12 suspects, including IDF reservists, for involvement in a major smuggling ring supplying goods such as cigarettes, iPhones, car parts, and dual-use items that can be used by Hamas to Gaza, with a total value of millions of shekels.
