Thousands of Chabad Shluchos from 111 Countries Gather at 770 for Annual Kinnus
Thousands of female Chabad shluchos from 111 countries gathered Erev Shabbos outside the Chabad-Lubavitch headquarters at 770 in Crown Heights, marking their annual international convention.
The event highlighted the role these women play in Jewish communal life, representing work in 6,000 communities and across a wide range of populations.
Organizers noted that three new families depart on shlichus each week. “The group photo of the shluchos represents the story of the Jewish people and the secret of our resilience,” said Rabbi Menachem Kotlarsky, director of the International Conference of Chabad-Lubavitch Shluchim. “Each woman here leads her community — and we are speaking about thousands of communities and thousands of points of light touching the lives of countless Jews.”
