
Good News: Improvement in Condition of Hagaon Harav Shmuel Kamenetzky, Shlita
B’chasdei Hashem, the condition of the Zkan Roshei HaYeshivos, Hagaon Harav Shmuel Kamenetzky, shlita has improved over the past few weeks, a source close to him told Belaaz Motzoei Shabbos.
The source says that the Philadelphia Rosh Yeshiva is “much stronger” and doing “much better” than he was previously, thanks to the nonstop tefilos of Klal Yisrael on his behalf.
In a further sign of his return to strength, the Rosh Yeshivah has begun speaking more. While not at full capacity, he is speaking “much more than he was speaking until now” and recently been able to answer sha’alos brought to his attention; a development described by the source as “a big positive in the right direction.”
With the Rosh Yeshivah’s condition stabilizing and improving, there is now hope that he may be discharged and able to return home in the next couple of weeks, b’ezras Hashem.
The family expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of tefillos from around the world, with the source noting that they feel the tefillos are “making a huge difference.”
The tzibbur is urged to continue davening for the refuah sheleimah of (Rav) Shmuel ben Ita Ettil, b’soch she’ar cholei Yisrael.
