The Jackson Police Department announced that several arrests were made over the past few days at McAuliffe School in connection with burglary, trespassing, and criminal mischief. Officials say the incidents appear to have been inspired by a recent social media trend.

In response, the department has increased patrol and security checks on and around the school property.

Lt. Edward Travisano warned the public: “There will be ZERO TOLERANCE when it comes to any persons found within the school or on the property without permission.”
