A multi-vehicle accident snarled traffic on the Garden State Parkway this morning, in the area of mile marker 96 north.

The accident happened shortly before 10:00 AM, and four vehicles were involved.

A Lakewood first responder who passed the scene assisted the driver of the overturned vehicle climb from the truck.

The driver stated he just finished making his last payment on the vehicle last night.

No injuries were reported.
