In an exclusive NBC News interview from Tehran, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that Iran is ready and unafraid of a potential U.S. ground invasion amid the escalating war with the U.S. and Israel.

When asked if he feared American troops entering Iran, Araghchi responded defiantly: “No, we are waiting for them.”

Pressed on ground forces, he replied, “Yes. That would be a big disaster for them,” claiming that Iran could confront and defeat any such operation.

Araghchi also rejected negotiations with the U.S. and stated Iran has not requested a ceasefire, denying President Trump’s claim.
