SMOTRICH’S SON WOUNDED: Minister’s Son Injured During Fighting on Lebanon Border
The Religious Zionism Party said that the son of Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich was wounded during military activity on the Lebanese border. He sustained light injuries and is doing well. He is expected to fully recover.
The minister’s office confirmed this on Friday, issuing a statement that said, “Thank God, his condition is light and he is doing well.”
IDF troops stationed on the border sustained about 10 anti-tank missile attacks, injuring one soldier severely, one moderately and one lightly. All three were evacuated for treatment.
The IDF mounted a fierce assault in response, attacking the sources of the anti-tank missile launches and Hezbollah terrorist cells in the region.
The incident comes amid heavy IDF fighting against Hezbollah to dismantle the terrorist organization’s military infrastructure and destroy its weapons arsenals via ground and air assaults.
