Amazon SHUTS Down Shipments to Israel as War With Iran Disrupts Global Flights and Supply Chains
In yet another sign of how the war with Iran is rippling far beyond the battlefield, online retail giant Amazon has temporarily stopped shipping products to Israel, leaving customers across the country unable to place orders on the platform.
Israeli users visiting Amazon’s U.S. website recently noticed that items normally eligible for delivery to Israel suddenly showed the message that they could not be shipped to the country. The disruption appears to affect products sold directly by Amazon as well as many third-party sellers on the platform.
The move comes as the ongoing conflict in the region has severely disrupted international air travel and cargo logistics. Much of the global e-commerce supply chain depends on cargo space in passenger aircraft, and the sharp reduction in flights to Israel has made it difficult for companies to guarantee delivery times.

While Amazon deliveries appear to be paused for now, other international shopping platforms such as AliExpress and Shein are still allowing Israelis to place orders, although delivery times have lengthened significantly due to the limited number of flights entering the country.
