‘NO ONE IS IMMUNE’: IDF Chief Says Thousands of Iranian Soldiers Killed
IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, speaking to pilots during a visit to Tel Nof Airbase, said Tuesday that thus far, thousands of Iranian soldiers have been killed. In a stark warning to the Iranian regime, he added that Israel will find them and kill them wherever they are, saying “no one is immune.”
“We are in a campaign that is deepening the damage to the Iranian regime and its foundations and pushing the threat further away over time,” he told the pilots. “So far, we have eliminated many thousands of the regime’s soldiers and its commanders. I say from here as well to all our enemies, no one is immune. We will know how to reach anyone who tries to harm the citizens of the State of Israel.”
The chief of staff said the military would not cease in its mission to “weaken the axis of terror, from the head in Tehran to its central arm in Beirut.”
Issuing another warning, to Hezbollah this time, he added, “It is paying the price for standing alongside Iran. We will not give up on disarming it; this campaign will help us accelerate this.”
Separately, the fourth Iranian missile attack since midnight triggered alarms across central Israel, parts of the north and Judea and Samaria. The IDF assessed that most of the missiles had been intercepted, and no injuries have been reported.
The IDF also published footage of the interception of a Hezbollah drone, reporting that it has used fighter jets, helicopters and ground-based air defense systems to shoot down dozens of drones since the war began on Feb. 28.
