A driver was hospitalized after being extricated from an overturned vehicle in Toms River this morning.

The two-vehicle accident happened around 11:15 AM at the intersection of Silverton Road and old Freehold Road.

The driver of the overturned vehicle, a woman, was transported by Toms River EMS.

Expect the delays in the area for the cleanup.
