An overturn accident in Toms River this evening has resulted in power outages after a car struck a utility pole in the area of Whitesville Road and Cox Cro Road.

Emergency responders are currently on scene, where the driver is reported to be heavily entrapped in the wreckage.

The single-vehicle collision brought down a utility pole and power lines, leading to outages affecting over 500 JCP&L customers in the surrounding area.
