Hezbollah Rocket Hits Kibbutz as Fighting Intensifies

Mar 13, 2026·2 min read

Kibbutz Kabri in the western Galilee sustained a direct hit from rocket fire Friday that lightly injured two people as Hezbollah resumed firing rockets indiscriminately into civilian population centers, causing Israelis to run for shelter. The attack comes amid Muslim celebrations of al-Quds Day, marking the last Friday of Ramadan. Iran has traditionally promoted Israel’s destruction on al-Quds Day. Observers note the irony that this year, Iran will mark that day amid the destruction perhaps of its own authoritarian regime.

Emergency responders treated a 50-year-old woman who sustained a shrapnel wound and a lightly injured 60-year-old man. Both are in good condition.

Meanwhile, the IDF intercepted a missile from Iran targeting central Israel.

Earlier, the Israeli Air Force conducted widespread strikes across Lebanon and Iran, while the two countries returned fire. An Iranian rocket wounded two people in the Israeli Bedouin village of Zarzir in the lower Galilee during the battle.

Following an IDF strike on Zrariyeh Bridge over the Litani River in southern Lebanon — a strategic military location for Hezbollah, which uses the bridge to move supplies and personnel — Israel’s defense minister, Israel Katz, conducted a meeting with IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir and top-ranking military officials.

“This is only the beginning, and the Lebanese government and the Lebanese state will pay an increasing price through damage to Lebanese national infrastructure that is used by Hezbollah terrorists,” Katz warned.
