Update: Israel Expands Outbound Flight Capacity to 120 Passengers per Flight from Ben Gurion Airport

Mar 17, 2026·1 min read

Following the initial pilot program for outbound travel, the Ministry of Transport has approved an increase in the passenger limit, now allowing up to 120 passengers on each departing flight from Ben Gurion Airport. The move is intended to ease restrictions and enable more travelers to leave the country under current conditions.

Officials stress that the framework remains subject to change, with further adjustments possible based on ongoing security assessments and government decisions.
