DEADLY SHARDS: Thai Worker Killed as Missiles Slam Israeli Homes

Mar 18, 2026·1 min read

A Thai worker who was about 30 years old was killed by shrapnel from an Iranian missile attack in Moshav Adanim in the Sharon area. Magen David Adom found him unresponsive at the scene and pronounced him dead at about midnight Wednesday, just one day after the death of an elderly couple in Tel Aviv who could not access a shelter in time.

In addition, a home in the Arab village of Jaljulia sustained a direct strike that injured five people, as well as a home in Ramat Aviv that was damaged, with one person lightly injured.

A barrage fired earlier at Neta struck a home that sustained heavy damage. Firefighters searching the area for people who might be trapped found no injuries, though one person was treated for anxiety.

Separately, a salvo of missiles from Hezbollah set off alerts in northern Israel and in the Gaza envelope in the south, marking the first use of a long-range missile by Hezbollah. The IDF intercepted two rockets, but one impacted Kiryat Shmona, causing extensive damage.
