The IDF said Wednesday it had destroyed Hezbollah-controlled gas stations in southern Lebanon during overnight strikes, saying the Al-Amana Fuel Company makes millions of dollars in profit annually that directly funds the terrorist organization.

The IDF said the operation formed part of its strategy to degrade Hezbollah’s ability to generate funds and stage attacks against Israel from civilian locations.

“The abuse of these gas stations is another example of Hezbollah’s exploitation of Lebanese civilians to advance terror attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel,” the IDF said.
