A devastating tragedy struck the Catskills community Wednesday night, as a fast-moving house fire in Bloomingburg claimed the life of R’ Yitzchok Dovid Vann Z”L.

R’ Yitzchok Dovid, 64, was tragically niftar in the blaze, leaving family, friends, and the Catskills community in shock. Emergency responders rushed to the house as flames were going wild, and despite their efforts, the fire proved fatal. Details surrounding the cause of the fire have not yet been fully released, and an investigation is ongoing.

Three Sifrei Torah had to be rescued as well, and they were all successfully removed from the home and saved BH.
