
A massive 3-alarm fire broke out Thursday afternoon at 1021 Avenue H, prompting a heavy FDNY response as flames rapidly spread through the building.
At least six stores have been engulfed in the blaze, making firefighting efforts significantly more challenging as crews work to bring the situation under control. As of now, the fire has not yet been contained.
Heavy smoke and a strong odor have spread into nearby Boro Park, causing concern among residents in the area.
