TEHILLIM: Over 130 Injured in Multiple Impacts Across Israel Following Iranian Missile Barrage Over Shabbos
More than 130 people were injured across Israel over Shabbos following a widespread missile barrage from Iran that resulted in multiple impacts, including direct hits and damage caused by falling shrapnel.
While air defense systems intercepted many of the incoming ballistic missiles, several were not intercepted, leading to direct strikes in populated areas. In addition, debris from intercepted missiles fell in multiple locations, causing further damage and injuries.
In one of the major incidents, a direct hit in southern Israel left approximately 40 people injured. Emergency responders quickly arrived on scene, treating victims and transporting them to nearby hospitals.
Another major incident was reported in Arad, where United Hatzolah said over 90 patients were treated with injuries ranging from serious to minor.
Emergency services responded to numerous scenes across the country as reports of injuries and destruction came in throughout Shabbos. Magen David Adom (MDA) and other emergency organizations assisted in transporting many of the injured.
Security and rescue forces, including IDF Home Front Command units, were deployed to multiple impact sites, working to locate victims, clear debris, and secure affected areas.
Reports from residents described damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure in several locations, caused both by direct impacts and widespread shrapnel.
