IDF Pounds Tehran Weapons Sites, Targets Iran’s War Machine
The IDF highlighted Wednesday the successes of a series of overnight strikes in Tehran that destroyed several aerial and naval weapons production sites. Using intelligence procured by the IDF, the Israeli Air Force targeted and struck these facilities in Tehran.
The IDF said that the sites it struck produced weapons for use in the air and at sea, as well as weapons that were sent to Iran’s proxy groups across the region, including Hamas, Hezbollah, and other groups that pose a direct threat to Israeli civilians and soldiers.
The military also struck several defensive sites in Iran, such as anti-aircraft missile launchers and air defense systems.
“The IDF will continue to expand its operations against the Iranian regime’s production infrastructure in order to disrupt its ability to manufacture weapons and to thwart efforts to restore its military capabilities,” the IDF said in its statement on the strikes.
