The Boro Park Center nursing home, a major healthcare facility located at 4915 10th Avenue, has been sold for $161.5 million, according to property records.
The nine-story, 500+ bed facility, long considered a flagship property of Centers Health Care, previously acquired in 2011 for $19 million.
The buyer is reportedly a Lakewood, New Jersey-based entity, with financing tied to a significant loan package. The sale marks a substantial increase in value over the past decade.
Boro Park Center is one of the largest nursing homes in Brooklyn and serves a significant portion of the local community. Further details regarding future operations under the new ownership have not yet been announced.
A notice posted inside the facility announced the sale, stating that while ownership has changed, operations will continue as usual with the same level of care maintained.
