Toms River Police are investigating a shooting which occurred at the Ocean County Mall this evening, TLS has learned.

A portion of the mall was placed under lockdown as police search for the gunman.

The teenaged victim was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

Information on his condition was not immediately available.
