The rabbanim of Kollel Divrei Eish in Boro Park have returned from a nesiya to Europe, where they visited kivrei tzaddikim and marked the completion of their limud in hilchos ribbis.

The group, made up of rabbanim and dayanim from the kollel, spent the past two and a half years learning the complex halachos of ribbis in depth. Following the completion, they traveled overseas for a trip that combined tefillah at mekomos hakdoshim with a siyum.

In Hungary, they visited the tzion of Reb Shayala Kerestirer, as well as the tzion of Reb Yitzchok of Kaliv, the Yismach Moshe in Ohel, and the author of Ach Pri Tevua in Liska.

From there, the group continued to Poland, where they visited additional kivrei tzaddikim, including the tzion of Reb Elimelech of Lizhensk, the Divrei Chaim of Sanz, the Tiferes Shlomo in Radomsk, Reb Dovid of Lelov, and the Zera Kodesh. They also stopped in Krakow, where they visited the local beis hachaim and held a seudas Rosh Chodesh.

The central event of the trip took place in Kerestir, near the tzion of Reb Shayala Kerestirer, where the rabbanim held a siyum on hilchos ribbis. The event included speeches, along with singing and dancing in honor of the occasion.

Kollel Divrei Eish has grown in recent years and includes a group of rabbanim training in halacha and psak.
