The IDF issued a statement saying it had dropped over 150 munitions in waves of strikes across Tehran and central Iran that destroyed key weapons production sites Thursday. The Israeli Air Force, acting on intelligence provided by the IDF, conducted the mission with the participation of more than 60 IAF pilots.

The IDF said that the military destroyed sites at Iran’s main compound Wednesday for the production of missiles and defense systems in Parchin. The military listed the types of installations that were dismantled Wednesday, which included a defense systems production site, a factory for casting and filling warheads with explosives, an installation for mixing and casting engines for ballistic missile development and a facility for manufacturing critical components used in the development processes of solid-fuel ballistic missiles.

The sites that were destroyed Thursday included a Quds Force production facility in Isfahan. The Quds Force operates as an elite unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, responsible for extraterritorial missions (i.e., terror attacks on foreign soil), gathering military intelligence for foreign operations and supporting Iran’s proxy terror groups across the Middle East. Also dismantled in Thursday’s strikes were a military industrial facility for the production of defense systems in Isfahan and multiple weapons production sites.

According to the military, the targeted sites developed and produced weapons used not only by the Iranian regime but also heavily used by Iran’s proxy groups, chief among them the Houthis and Hezbollah.

“The IDF will continue to expand its operations against the Iranian regime’s production infrastructure in order to disrupt its ability to manufacture weapons that were developed over the years,” the military declared.
