Question:

Thank you for your service to our town.

I would like to bring something to your attention and to see if you can address the following issue.

Often after the garbage personnel do their pickup, the cans are dropped down haphazardly on the streets, sometimes blocking the street and often causing damage to the cans, specifically to the wheels. It is exceedingly difficult to bring a can down to the street with a broken wheel while waiting a few weeks to get the can repaired. With a little more attention to the way it is done, a more professional outcome for this taxpayer funded service can be achieved.

Good morning. Thanks. I will discuss this with public works. I know our drivers do their best to keep things clear and safe Also know that the cans we have to buy today aren’t as stuffy as those we have had in the past.
