The boy who was struck and seriously injured in Lakewood on Shabbos is making significant improvements, TLS has learned.

Daniel Shmuel Ben Shifra was walking on Hope Chapel Friday night when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver, and was left unconscious with serious injuries.

Thousands have been Davening for the boy, and the Tefillos are bringing results.

As of this morning, the boy has B”H opened his eyes, and has begun speaking.

He still has a way to go to a full recovery.
