Trump Hosts Orthodox Jewish Leaders And Edan Alexander At White House For Passover
President Donald Trump hosted a group of business figures and haredi leaders in the Oval Office in honor of the Passover holiday.
Among those in attendance was Rabbi Moshe Dovid Niederman of Satmar Williamsburg, Rabbi Chaim Dovid Zwiebel of Agudath Israel of America, Trump’s Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun, Tzedek Association Founder Rabbi Moshe Margaretten, and Mayor Yisroel Meir Spitzer of New Square, Skver.

Also there was former Hamas hostage Edan Alexander, the last living American hostage in Gaza, along with his mother. Alexander, a dual U.S. and Israeli citizen, was freed following efforts led by Steve Witkoff and President Trump.
According to reports, this marked Alexander’s third visit to the White House. Guests at the meeting noted that Trump appeared “absolutely enamored” with him during the visit.
During a prior meeting, Alexander told the president that his captors began treating him better after Trump won the November 2024 election.
Alexander, a lone soldier from Tenafly, New Jersey who was serving in the IDF at the time of his abduction, has recently made headlines again after rejoining the military.
