U.S. forces have launched targeted strikes on defensive and military installations on Iran’s strategic Kharg Island, a critical hub for the country’s oil exports, according to multiple reports. 

At the same time, Israel has reportedly begun striking key infrastructure across Iran, including railway lines and bridges, following prior warnings to civilians to avoid transit systems amid escalating attacks. 

Airstrikes are ongoing across multiple regions of the country, signaling a major coordinated escalation between U.S. and Israeli forces. 

Video footage circulating online appears to show emergency crews evacuating injured workers from Kharg Island after multiple explosions rocked the area. Reports indicate the strikes triggered significant damage, though the full extent of casualties remains unclear. 

In a dramatic new post, Donald J. Trump suggested the operation could mark a turning point, writing that “a whole civilization will die tonight” but adding that with “Complete and Total Regime Change… something revolutionarily wonderful can happen.” He called the moment “one of the most important” in world history and said “47 years of extortion, corruption, and death will finally end.”

Kharg Island is considered one of Iran’s most critical economic lifelines, handling a large portion of its oil exports, making it a high-value strategic target in the widening conflict.
