TRUMP TO ISRAEL: “ENOUGH!” — Stop the Hezbollah Strikes Now
President Donald Trump ordered Israel to stop striking Hezbollah — taking literally his own comparison of the relationship of the two allies to that of a big brother and a little brother.
“Israel will not be bombing Lebanon any longer,” he posted on Truth Social Friday. “They are PROHIBITED from doing so by the U.S.A. Enough is enough!!! Thank you!”
He also said that the Iran and Lebanon deals are not tied to each other.
“This deal is in no way subject to Lebanon, either, but the USA will, separately, work with Lebanon, and deal with the Hezboolah [sic] situation in an appropriate manner,” he wrote.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not immediately react to Trump’s unusually harsh post toward what he himself has touted as the most stalwart ally of the U.S., but said that Israel had agreed to a ceasefire at the president’s request.
In a televised statement he addressed anger over the ceasefire with Hezbollah.
Netanyahu confronted directly the criticism that the war with Hezbollah accomplished nothing. The IDF obliterated the threats coming from Hezbollah, he said. The threat of a terrorist invasion of Israel is gone, the threat of anti-tank fire on northern communities is degraded, and the arsenal of 150,000 missiles and rockets is decimated.

What’s more, for the first time, Israel has created a secure buffer zone that extends deep into Iran, where Israeli troops remain deployed for the duration of the ceasefire.
“They wanted to encircle us with a ring of fire,” he said. “We created a ring of security.”
Will the big brother and little brother get into a family squabble over the ceasefire? Or will Hezbollah strike first, forcing Israel’s hand? That remains to be seen — but for now, the fragile ceasefire is holding.
