IN TRIBUTE: Reb Moshe Yehuda Kish, z"l

YS GOLD

Over the weekend, the Boro Park community lost Reb Moshe Kish, a longtime Boro Park resident known for his ehrlichkeit, yiras Shomayim, and emunas chachomim. He was 76 years of age.

The niftar was born to his father, Reb Duvid Kish, in the town of Banya, Romania, where he remained until he was ten years old. It was there that he encountered the Admorim of Skulen with whom the family was very close.

Subsequently, the family made their way to Eretz Yisroel, residing in Beis Chilkiya, and Reb Moshe learned in a number of prestigious yeshivos in Eretz Yisroel, coming close to the tzaddikim of the holy land.

He was known for his deep ehrlichkeit and yiras Shomayim, and his great reverence for tzaddikim. He would frequent the courts of the Admorim of Skulen, Lubavitch, Tosh, and Spinka, and he always lived with great emunah in Hashem and his servants.

He was unwell for many years, but he never complained. He always expressed his hope in Hashem, and constantly awaited the coming of Moshiach.

Together with his eishes chayil, he established beautiful generations of yirei shomayim and ehrliche Yidden who continue in his ways.

Yehi zichro baruch.
