BDE: Petirah of Nasiya Karadi, Hy’d, 11, Victim of Iranian Missile Strike in Bnei Brak

A profound wave of grief swept through Klal Yisrael on Erev with the heartbreaking news of the petirah of 11-year-old Nasiya Karadi Hy”d.

The young girl, who was critically wounded on Erev Pesach by an Iranian missile strike while sleeping in her Bnei Brak home, returned her pure neshama to her Creator at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer.

For weeks following the devastating attack, Jewish communities across the globe united in fervent tefillos and heartfelt pleas. Countless kabalos were made and perakim of Tehillim were recited for the recovery of Nasiya bas Hila.

Sadly, she passed away, and was surrounded by her devoted family members, who had maintained a constant vigil at her bedside.

Nasiya was a student at the Chorev School in Ramat Gan. She was born to her esteemed parents, Rabbi Elazar Karadi and Mrs. Hila.

In a deeply moving interview prior to her passing, her mother shared the special significance behind her daughter’s name. “We named her ‘Nasiya’ because she was born through a visible miracle,” she recounted to Kol Berama radio. “I still remember the midwife calling out in the delivery room that this child was a living miracle.”

The levaya is scheduled to be held on Motzoei Shabbos, drawing large crowds of from Bnei Brak and beyond.
