The Burshtiner kehillah in Boro Park turns fifty years old this year--marking half a century of incredible contributions to the spiritual character of the Boro Park community.
In honor of this milestone, as well as the occasion of a number of weddings in the Rebbe's family following Shavuos, the Rebbe will journey to mekomos hakedoshim in Eastern Europe to visit the resting places of the holy tzaddikim of yore and daven for the continued success of his burgeoning kehillah.
The Rebbe will depart for Europe the day after Lag BaOmer, and the highlight of the trip will be an elevated Shabbos in the town of Sanz, adjacent to the tziyun of the holy Sanzer Rov, davening in the historic shul where the Divrei Chaim conducted his great avodas hakodesh.
Other highlights will include visits to the tziyunim of Koznitz, Lublin, Lanzhut, Lizensk, Krakow, and others. As noted, Shabbos Parashas Behar Bechukosai will be spent in Sanz, and the Rebbe will return home Sunday evening.
