Parents Slammed After Antisemitic Stickers Surface at School Event

May 1, 2026·2 min read

Hating on Jews made its way into a school event at Beverly Elementary School in Beverly Hills, Mich., where parents posted stickers bearing antisemitic imagery at one of the tables.

Leo Terrell, antisemitism task force lead in the Trump administration, captured the frustration of Jewish parents at the school in a post on X.

“SHAMEFUL!! What is wrong with these people??” he vented.

StopAntisemitism also took to social media to blast the parents responsible for spreading hate.

“Parents at Beverly Elementary School decided it would be a good idea to distribute these antisemitic, pro-violence stickers at the school’s cultural night to promote ‘diversity,'” the group wrote, posting photos of the antisemitic stickers.

Embekka Roberson, the school superintendent, said the school took action immediately to remove the offensive labels, adding that the stickers had not appeared at the table during the pre-event walk-through, but that the school would devise and implement measures to ensure such activity does not recur.

“We do not tolerate intimidation, bullying, threats, discrimination or antisemitism in our schools,” she said in a statement.

The Jewish Federation of Detroit also issued a statement on the matter, warning that these types of actions are exacerbating a climate of antisemitism and calling for those responsible to be called to account.

Terrell said it best. Parents are supposed to model for their children the virtues of good character. What kind of parents teach their children to hate? What is wrong with these people, indeed?
