Azzam al-Hayya, the son of senior Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in eastern Gaza City, according to reports from Al Hadath and Al-Arabiya.

Khalil al-Hayya is a prominent and highly influential figure within the Hamas political bureau. He has served as a key deputy and a major negotiator for the terror group, frequently representing Hamas in international ceasefire and hostage negotiations in Cairo and Doha alongside other senior leaders. The elimination of his son, Azzam, represents a significant personal and organizational blow to the group’s top echelon.
