One person was injured following a serious motor vehicle accident in Lakewood this evening, which left the driver trapped inside.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Oak Street and River Avenue, prompting a heavy response from Hatzolah, Lakewood Police, Lakewood Fire and EMS. Upon arrival, first responders found the vehicle on its side with the driver entrapped due to the extent of the damage.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
