Iran has released a fiery written statement allegedly from Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, but notably no video or audio accompanied the message, prompting critics and analysts to speculate that the statement may have actually originated from elements within Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps rather than Khamenei himself.

Either way, the aggressive rhetoric is casting serious doubt on whether any peace agreement between Iran and the United States will be reached anytime soon.

The statement, released ahead of the Hajj pilgrimage season, contained repeated threats against both Israel and the United States and called for continued confrontation with what Iran described as “global arrogance.”

Among the most alarming lines:

“Death to America and death to Israel will remain a permanent slogan of the Islamic Republic.”

The statement also warned that regional countries would no longer be able to protect American military bases and claimed the United States would soon have “no secure ground anywhere in the region.”

Israel was repeatedly described as a “cancerous tumor” allegedly entering “the final stages” of its existence.

The message further urged Muslim nations to unite against Israel and America while praising what it called Iran’s “victory” in the latest regional conflict.

The absence of any verified video or audio recording from Khamenei himself immediately triggered skepticism online, with some observers questioning whether the statement was authentic or instead drafted by hardline IRGC officials seeking to sabotage ongoing diplomatic efforts.

The release comes amid already fragile negotiations involving the United States, Iran, and regional mediators over sanctions relief, uranium enrichment, and security in the Strait of Hormuz.

“Message from the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on the occasion of the Hajj

The shaky Zionist regime and the cancerous tumor of Israel are approaching the final stages of their ill fated life, and by the grace of Allah and in accordance with the decisive and unwavering determination of the past year, the great leader, the martyr, Quds Allah, the Most Merciful, will not see the day twenty five years after that date, God willing.

For this reason, this year, the issue of disavowal from polytheists is doubly important, and the depth and scope of disavowal from America and the Zionist regime goes beyond the ritual of disavowal during the Hajj season and time.

In different parts of Iran and the world, and after these blessed days, death to America and death to Israel will be the common slogan of the Islamic nation and the oppressed of the world, especially the youth.

The future belongs to the Islamic nation and the new Islamic civilization, and each of us can play a role in realizing this future and getting closer to it, according to our efforts, capacity, and responsibility.

Iranian pilgrims and pilgrims in this year’s Hajj have an effective and prominent role in telling the story of the victory of the Third Imposed War to their other Muslim brothers and sisters and giving them hope for a bright future.
