- Gedoliei Eretz Yisroel to visit Lakewood on behalf of Keren Olam HaTorah A delegation of leading Gedolei Yisroel from Eretz Yisroel will travel to the United States next week on behalf of Keren Olam HaTorah for a major fundraising mission, with two scheduled stops in Lakewood.

The delegation will include the Roshei Yeshiva of Slabodka, Harav Dov Landau shlita and Harav Moshe Hillel Hirsch shlita, along with Harav Yaakov Hillel shlita, Harav Don Segal shlita, Harav Shimon Galai shlita, Harav Avraham Salim shlita, Harav Asher Weiss shlita, Harav Yosef Chevroni shlia, Harav Yisroel Bunim Schreiber shlita, the Rachmastrivka Rebbe shlita, and Harav Chaim Mordechai Ausband shlita.

The itinerary includes Baltimore (June 7), Lakewood (June 8 and 11), Chicago, Brooklyn, Monsey, and Florida through June 14.

A ribbon cutting ceremony took place today in Lakewood for new HASC Center location off Rt 9 near Central ave Sen Bob Singer said HASC does incredible work empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to live independent, meaningful lives. - Early voting data ahead of Primary election day in New Jersey: A total of 372,461 votes have been cast in advance of today’s primary election in New Jersey, according to an analysis by VoteHub. The polls open on Election Day with turnout already at 9%. Democrats cast 291,080 of those votes, 78% of the statewide total; 80,979 (22%) came from Republicans.

Of the statewide tally, 284,626 votes were cast by mail-in ballots; 81% were from Democrats and 19% from Republicans. In all, 87,835 in-person early votes were cast across the state between May 26-31: 60% from Democrats and 31% from Republicans.

- Giyus: Left-wing organization comes to the defense of bochurim protesting:  The Association for Civil Rights in Israel appealed to the Police Commissioner and the Acting Legal Adviser to the Police, demanding an investigation into police officers who were documented using stun grenades, a water cannon truck, and pepper spray during Haredi protests. According to the organization, some of these measures were employed in violation of the law and police regulations.

- Orthodox Jewish Billionaire Lev Leviev’s family just announced a massive new $50 million initiative for Jewish education.Chagit Leviev Sofiev announced that the Leviev Foundation will invest $50 million over the next five years to provide scholarships and educational grants for Jewish children from underserved and immigrant communities.

- Trump endorsed Rep. Tom Kean, the New Jersey Republican who’s been absent from Congress and hasn’t been seen for 3 months.

- New Jersey Attorney General Jennifer Davenport says the state filed a lawsuit against The GEO Group, Inc., which operates the Delaney Hall immigration detention center in Newark. The lawsuit requests that the court grant the New Jersey Department of Health full access to the facility.

- Newark Mayor Ras J. Baraka will lift the limited curfew imposed around Delaney Hall in the next day or so as protests continue over treatment of those detained at the facility.

- Samsung Electronics America publicly announced plans on to move its U.S. headquarters from Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey to Plano, Texas, by the end of 2026 just eight months after opening a new campus in the Garden State. The move could have 1000 jobs leave New Jersey.

- New Jersey Natural Gas customers in Monmouth and Ocean counties will see an 8.9% drop in average winter heating bills, falling from $148.69 to $135.49 starting October 1. However, a proposed 2027 rate increase of about 3.8% could later reduce or erase those savings.
