Emergency responders were called to a scene in Lakewood today after a person suffered an apparent overdose and was revived by bystanders before first responders arrived – but then reportedly attempted to get up and leave, officials told TLS.

According to initial information available, individuals at the scene performed CPR and administered Narcan to the patient, who regained consciousness. After being revived, the individual reportedly attempted to leave the location by walking off.

Officers from the Lakewood Police Department and EMS personnel responded to the scene and provided medical treatment to the patient.

No additional information was immediately available regarding the patient’s condition.
