Rav Moshe Sternbach called on The Edah HaChareidis and Rav Ezriel Auerbach called on the the bnei Torah faction to go out and join the protests, which were sparked by the planned transfer of 19 detainees who were arrested for protesting outside the home of Justice Solberg, to the IDF military police.

- Attorney Natan Rosenblatt on Kol Chai: “There is no legal prohibition on protesting outside a judge’s home, and the High Court has repeatedly ruled that there is full freedom of protest in the country. Out of 65 detainees, 64 have no connection to the breaking of windows, and the police have no shred of evidence against them in court, their representative simply stood there stammering without answers. The hearing featured extensive testimony and public comment, with neighboring residents raising concerns about drainage, lighting, utility access, and traffic impacts. Particular attention was given to the project's proposed access plan, which currently calls for a right-turn-only exit onto Massachusetts Avenue. Residents argued that adding more than 100 vehicles to an area already experiencing congestion from Prospect Street would worsen traffic conditions.
The meeting also saw tense exchanges between board members and an attorney representing opponents of the project. The board chairman and several members repeatedly criticized the attorney, accusing him of filibustering rather than presenting substantive arguments. Board members also expressed frustration with the length of the hearing, despite the meeting ending before 9 p.m.
