
IDF Names Staff Sgt. Liav Kababia as Third of Four Soldiers Killed in Hezbollah Tank Attack

Staff Sgt. Liav Kababia, 20, from Hod Hasharon, has been identified by the IDF as the third of four soldiers killed in a Hezbollah attack on an Israeli tank in southern Lebanon early Friday morning.

Kababia served in the 52nd Battalion of the 401st Armored Brigade.
The IDF previously announced that Lt. Col. Dor Gedalia Ben Simhon, 32, commander of the 52nd Battalion, was killed in the attack along with three members of his tank crew, after their tank was struck by a Hezbollah drone or anti-tank missile.
Earlier, the military named Staff Sgt. Yoav Klein, 21, as another soldier killed in the same incident.
The name of the fourth fallen soldier has not yet been released and is expected to be published by the IDF soon.
