Another e-bike accident was reported Thursday in Lakewood, this time at the intersection of Vine Avenue and Essex Avenue.

The incident appears to have resulted in injuries, with the victim transported to the hospital by Hatzalah. Photos from the scene do not appear to show a helmet near the rider, once again highlighting ongoing concerns about e-bike safety.

The latest crash comes amid a growing number of e-bike accidents in Lakewood and serves as another reminder of the importance of wearing a helmet and following traffic laws.
