Which one was your favourite? Did it make our top 10?
🥇: Heritage - Pivot (9.6/10) With our best combined rating. This ad is our winner this season! For me, this is the winner this season. Hit the nail on all points. Creative idea. Good copy that goes well with the concept, the brand and Yom Tov. Great design. Grabs the attention of the viewer. Simple and elegant. Yidel says: The copy could perhaps use a little more spark. Previous seasons made me feel connected to the brand and its story without needing to spell anything out. There’s some of that here, but it comes through a little less strongly. Still, it’s strong enough in every other respect to stand as one of the top ads.

And the winner is…
2: Yedidim - Aim Creatives (9.5/10) Great ad to bring a much positive approach to the industry of volunteering without stepping on the feelings of the patients. (Was also a top 3 in my personal ratings)
Image: media
3: Hatzlacha - Aim Creatives (9.5/10) Creative. Different. Not trying to sell you anything directly. Just bringing out a point gently with a touch of humour. Clean.
Image: media
4: Water Ways - Dart (9.2/10) Personally I think this was my second favourite ad this season. Love the concept. The connection to Yom Tov. The message. The art. Perfect ad. Yidel says: If we were judging purely on art direction, this would be the winner. Including the product within the rectangle saves it from being just a beautiful piece of art, giving the visual a purpose. But it doesn’t quite do enough to put it in the top tier as an ad. Stronger copy might have taken it there. As a piece of art, it’s outstanding. As an ad, it’s almost there.
Image: media
5: Imperial - Admark (9.2/10) I love the combination of the message and character. Really good concept and pleasant on the eye. Yidel says: A good tagline would have taken this up another notch.
Image: media
6: Tahareinu - Initact (9.1/10) Initact with another sharp ad for Tahareinu. Not at the same level as Pesach when I believe it made it to my top 3. But still a very creative approach to a sensitive topic. Yidel with some self reflection: The central idea is strong. For those who appreciate this kind of concept and copy. Its appeal may be a little more niche, but that doesn’t necessarily detract. However, this could have benefitted from a cleaner execution.
Image: media
7: Zing - Pivot (9.1/10) This ad stands out immediately. Playful, which goes well with the brand and its audience. For me, the only missing piece was some of the characters, or perhaps rather the missing characters. Yidel says: Possibly my top pick for effectiveness and bringing the message to life.
Image: media
8: Chazak - Pentagon (9/10) Another one of my personal favourites. Looks great in print too. Yidel says: For me this is all about the idea and sentiment behind. Headline says it all.
Image: media
9: Apstone - Dart (9/10) Absolutely beautiful concept. Beautiful execution with a great design. Message and design compliment each other well. This is how it’s done.
Image: media
10: Dee Fitness - Aim Creatives (9/10) This didn’t score as high for me only because I am sure I’ve seen this concept before. Also, the one with the tagline in Yiddish hasn’t really connected to the concept for me. But looks like the others appreciated it enough to make it feature in the top 10.

Top 10… Here we go…
11: Prodeal - Aim Creatives (8.8) Really good ad. Personally the Lakefront one that runs on a similar theme is better than this one. But looks like Sruly really loved this…;) In all seriousness it is a great concept and well executed.
Image: media
12: Keter - GCNY (8.8) Beautiful idea. Well executed. Should’ve even scored slightly higher personally.
Image: media
13: Yoffee Coffee - Samkup (8.8) For me this was a Top 5 ad. Doesn’t need any explaining.
Image: media
14: Neimos Hatorah - Aim Creatives (8.7) In the last few seasons, we’ve started seeing more and more Yeshive ads. For me, this one stands out as different to most. Pointing out that every Bucher is different in a way that doesn’t mean that one is better than the other. So, well done on the concept, and design is also different to most and well executed. Well done Sruly. Yidel says: Well executed and certainly a refreshing change. Personally, I don’t find the message particularly new or convincing. It reminds me of every mashgiach’s attempt at inspirational speaking. Still, in a world of endless ads featuring staircases made of Gemaras, this breaks the mold in a good way.
Image: media
15: Linx - Pentagon (8.6) Puns are more often than not overrated. But when it works it works. And this one works big time! Another one of my personal favourites.
Image: media
16: Wonder - Dart (8.6) Dart of had exceptional stuff this season and this is another one of them. Creative message. Visually translated.
Image: media
17: Sucasa - Aim Creatives (8.6) Talking about brand identity, this goes on similar lines to the Flaum ad but is being more playful with the logo. Sometimes the point is leaving the logo out. Nonetheless, these stand out and bring the point out well with less unnecessary commentary. Yidel says: This ad really gives testament to the strong visual identity of this brand. Well done.
Image: media
18: Dirshu - Dart (8.6) Yidel Says: I have a soft spot for uplifting ads. This one really captures the feeling in a way that’s sure to connect deeply with its target audience. The visual execution perhaps gets a little carried away in places, but that doesn’t take away from its impact for me.
Image: media
19: Mefoar - Pivot (8.6) Pivot have managed every season to come up with beautiful concepts for Mefoar. And this one joins the lineup with another awesome concept and beautiful execution.
Image: media
20: US Tiles - Dart (8.6) Another one of my favourites. Simple message. Exceptional execution!
Image: media
21: Lalechet - Pivot (8.5) This was one of my personal favourites. Genius copywriting.
Image: media
22: Metales - Aim Creatives (8.4) Playful and neatly done. Yidel says: “One of my top 5!”
Image: media
23: Luxury Lighting - Dart (8.4) Awesome idea of concept. Message and design perfectly aligned.
Image: media
24: Flaum - M/OTG (8.4) Presenting the beauty of strong branding. No need to mention the name. Could’ve said even less. Yidel says: Slightly overexplained. Would've scored higher with more restraint.
Image: media
25: Medease - Pinex (8.3) Very good concept. And while the design isn’t the cleanest it brings the message to life perfectly!
Image: media
26: Yid Fit - Aim Creatives (8.3) Another decent one from Aim with a strong message.
Image: media
27: O’fishally - Dart (8.2/10) This is more a niche concept, maybe the Europeans won’t get it, but the Americans will understand. It’s all around the Git Shabbos text guy. Creative and well executed.
Image: media
28: G&G - Samkup (8.2/10) Really good concept and message. Not the greatest execution but also not too bad.
Image: media
29: Noribar - Aim Creatives (8.1/10) Yeah because putting a Chasidic kid in Japan with Mount Fuji in the background is going to convince me that the sushi is “authentic”…. But with all seriousness it really does stand out.
Image: media
30: Bukie - Pentagon (8.1/10) Decent ad in every aspect. Sometimes that’s all that needed. Simple message. Good concept. Great design.
Image: media
31: Aspire - Aim Creatives (8.1/10) Again putting a Yingerman on a Private Jet. But this one stands out for the tagline and the cleanliness of the design.
Image: media
32: Refurbish - Aim Creatives (8.1/10) Love the first four ads of this campaign. Slightly over the top but that’s also the beauty of this campaign. Bold and humorous.
Image: media
33: Strive - Pentagon (8.1/10) The beauty of this ad is the unsaid. The between-the-lines. Love the spin on the podcast industry even though it makes fun of something I’m part of…
Image: media
34: Eis Laasois - Pinex (8/10) Yidel says: I didn't see this in print but I imagine seeing it on screen doesn't really show the full impact. I would have rated it higher if I would have had a score for medium/media.
Image: media
35: Monsey Eruv - Aim Creatives (8/10) Ok looks like for some reason this one was doubled in the system. Although it’s a different part of the campaign with a different message.
Image: media
36: Lakefront - Pivot (8/10) Pivot have been running with this comparison theme for Lakefront for the last few seasons, but I think this one tops them all. With the added winner of a tagline. Touch of humour. Awesome job. Are we moving?
Image: media
37: Lerner - Pentagon (8/10) Again a great concept for a Shtreimel brand but execution could’ve been slightly better.
Image: media
38: Miller - FriedCo - (7.9) The concept is very good. Visually it stands out and portrays the message well. Design could’ve been slightly better. Especially the cloud overshadowing the Shtreimel bothers me slightly.
Image: media
39: Mechon Doros - Aim Creatives (7.9) Campaigns with depth and deeper messages can sometimes be a challenge. But here they’ve managed to draw the eye and keep interest high.
Image: media
40: Money Eruv - Aim Creatives (7.9) Bringing positivity to a controversial topic. Nicely executed.
Image: media
41: Yehi Or - Pentagon (7.8) Slightly over the top with the AI visuals. But Chol Hamoed vibes scored. Are they trying to make us all Chabad shluchim?
Image: media
42: Fino - Aim Creatives (7.8) Stands out. Bold. Maybe even slightly too bold. Yidel says: If chutzpah were the main metric, this would come out on top. It shows a strong understanding of its target audience, even if the idea itself isn’t particularly original or inspired.
Image: media
43: Vayimaen - Pivot (7.8) One of the keys for a good Yom Tov ad when there are so many of them in the magazines, is for it to stand out and draw attention. This one no doubt does that very well. And it is complimented with a simple and powerful message. Choose to rise - we’re better…
Image: media
44: Flavor On Board - Tealblue (7.8) While the execution could’ve been better, the concept and tagline are just awesome!
Image: media
45: Makdim - Pivot (7.7) While the previous concepts were all top notch. This doesn’t quite match that level. But nonetheless pretty solid in every aspect. Love the play on ‘Disappear’.
Image: media
46: Studer - Initact (7.7) I love the tagline of this campaign. Also let’s normalise Yingerleit in Private Jets 😜
Image: media
47: Zichri - Pentagon (7.7) Beautifully compliments the Simchas Torah vibe. With a creative concept. This is how you do Yom Tov ads…
Image: media
48: Brightview - Aim Creatives (7.7) Slightly bold approach. But gently done. Good message with a twist.
Image: media
49: Norman’s - Dart (7.7) I personally expected this one to score much higher. Scored 9 in execution. Really well designed.
Image: media
50: Upscale - Pinex (7.6) Yidel says: Creative and well executed, but I’d like the visual pun to communicate something more meaningful about the brand, rather than simply pointing back to the headline or name.
Image: media
51: Furniture Village - Aim Creatives (7.6) Was a massive fan of their Pesach ad. This one is not as creative but still perfectly executed.
Image: media
52: Chavrei Hasiyum - Pivot (7.6) A concept that starts and ends with the message and beautifully complements the tagline.
Image: media
53: Lev Uvois - Pivot (7.6) Another Yeshive / Cheider ad. This time by Pivot. Yidel says: I don't think it gives the target audience enough reason to care. But nice and creative overall.
Image: media
54: Kol Torah - Pentagon (7.6) Another Yehsive ad from Pentagon. Nice approach focusing on the question “Where does he learn?”.
Image: media
55: Prime Cut - Tactic (7.6) Am a big fan of this campaign by Tactic. Great creativity and perfect execution. There’s another few in the series but shared these examples.
Image: media
56: Keren Olam Hatorah - Pivot (7.6) This is where the joint venture xomes into play. Even though I didn’t connect to this ad. I’ll admit it looks awesome and beautifully executed. But as my fellow judges seemingly approved it scored nicely.
Image: media
57: Viewpoint - Pinex (7.6) Although this has only scored 5 of execution. The idea is awesome. Scoring 9 in that category. Your average Koilel coffee room conversation. Delivering to the exact target audience. Nice thinking there.
Image: media
58: Force - GCNY (7.5) With this one it is almost entirely down to the idea which has the most weight in the scoring breakdown. Copy could’ve been slightly better but great concept.
Image: media
59: Shemesh - Dart (7.5) While this scored between 7 to 7.3 in most categories, it scored an impressive combined 9 for the execution.
Image: media
60: Livnas Hasapir - Pentagon (7.5) We’ve started seeing in major increase in ads for Mosdos and Yeshivas. This was one that stood out for me as by leaving an empty space it allows for everyones imagination of seeing their own kid in there. Beautifully executed.
