Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a dramatic address from the rooftop of the Kirya military headquarters in Tel Aviv, declaring that Israel has eliminated Iran’s Supreme Leader and dozens of senior regime officials.

“We eliminated the tyrant Khamenei and dozens of senior figures in the regime of repression. Our forces are now striking in the heart of Tehran with intensifying force, and that force will increase even further in the coming days,” Netanyahu said.

In a broader statement following a high-level security meeting, the prime minister said he had just concluded consultations with the defense minister, the IDF chief of staff, and the Mossad director, and issued directives for the next stage of the campaign.

“Yesterday we eliminated the tyrant Khamenei. Together with him, we eliminated dozens of senior members of the regime of repression. Our forces are now striking in the heart of Tehran with growing intensity — and this will continue to escalate in the coming days.”

Netanyahu acknowledged the heavy toll at home, referencing deadly strikes in Tel Aviv and Beit Shemesh.

“These are painful days. Yesterday here in Tel Aviv, and now in Beit Shemesh, we lost precious people. My heart goes out to the families, and on behalf of all of you, the citizens of Israel, I send wishes for a full recovery to the wounded.”

He stressed that Israel is deploying unprecedented military strength in the campaign.

“We are in a battle in which we are bringing the full power of the IDF, as never before, to ensure our existence and our future.”

Netanyahu also highlighted U.S. support, thanking President Donald Trump and the American military for standing with Israel.

“We are bringing into this campaign the assistance of the United States — my friend, President Donald Trump, and the U.S. military. This combination of forces allows us to do what I have long hoped to do for 40 years — to strike the terror regime decisively. That is what I promised — and that is what we will do.”
