Six Injured in Latest Missile Barrage on Yerushalayim, One in Serious Condition

Mar 1, 2026·2 min read

Six people were wounded Sunday following the latest Iranian missile barrage targeting Yerushalayim, with emergency officials reporting multiple impact sites across the city.

Initial reports indicated four separate scenes of falling debris in different areas of Yerushalayim after launches from Iran toward Israel. Magen David Adom (MDA) spokesperson Zaki Heller confirmed that six people were injured as a result of the strikes, including one in serious condition.

In a statement, MDA said that in the Yerushalayim sector, paramedics and emergency medical technicians were providing treatment to a man approximately 50 years old listed in moderate condition, along with five additional victims who sustained light injuries.

Police said officers from the Yerushalayim District began conducting searches throughout the area following reports of interceptor fragments and other munitions debris that had fallen at several locations.

In a separate statement, Israel Police confirmed that reports had been received of interceptor debris landing at multiple points within the Yerushalayim District. Police officers and bomb disposal units were dispatched to the scenes to scan the areas and neutralize any potential threats.

“We ask the public to stay away from impact sites and to follow the instructions of officers at the scene,” police said. “It is strictly prohibited to collect interceptor fragments. Move away from the area and report to the police hotline at 100.”

Police further urged residents to avoid arriving at or gathering near the affected areas in order to prevent risk to life and to allow emergency and security forces to operate without obstruction.

Israel Fire and Rescue Services reported that firefighting teams were carrying out extensive searches at the scenes and working to eliminate potential hazards. According to medical officials, seven injured individuals had been evacuated from the various locations for further treatment.

Firefighters continued search and safety operations as authorities worked to secure the areas and bring the incident to a close. Residents were again asked to refrain from approaching the sites and to allow security and emergency personnel to complete their work.
