WATCH: Netanyahu, On Hannity, Breaks Silence for First Time Since Strikes Against Iran

Mar 3, 2026·2 min read

[Video below.] Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu said Monday that Iran’s ruling regime cannot be changed from within and is driven by extremist hostility toward the United States, as he defended ongoing coordinated military operations carried out by Israel and the United States.

In an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, Netanyahu described Iran’s leaders as beyond reform and deeply committed to aggression. He argued that the current wave of joint strikes was justified in light of Tehran’s efforts to restore its nuclear and ballistic missile programs after earlier attacks had inflicted heavy damage on key facilities.

Netanyahu stated that ongoing joint United States-Israel strikes against the Iranian regime were “necessary” due to the nature of the Iranian leadership and their attempts to rebuild nuclear weapons and ballistic missile capabilities after previous strikes severely damaged the regime’s facilities.

Calling the Iranian government irredeemable, Netanyahu said, “The Iranian terror regime is at the weakest point it’s ever been at,” and predicted that continued pressure would produce swift results. He added that he expects military actions against Iran will be “quick and decisive” and result in conditions that would allow the Iranian people to change their government.

The prime minister also expressed appreciation for President Donald Trump’s role in authorizing and supporting the joint operations. Praising Trump’s leadership, Netanyahu declared that “there has never been a president like Donald J. Trump.”
