WASHINGTON (VINnews) — Pete Hegseth said Friday that Iran’s leadership is now facing the combined military power of the United States and Israel, praising what he described as an unprecedented partnership between the two allies’ air forces.

Speaking about the ongoing campaign against Iranian targets, Hegseth said the cooperation between the United States and Israel has produced a scale of military operations rarely seen.

“The combination of the world’s two most powerful air forces is unprecedented and unbeatable,” Hegseth said.

According to Hegseth, American and Israeli forces have carried out strikes on more than 15,000 enemy targets, averaging over 1,000 attacks a day.

“No other combination of countries in the world could do that,” he said.

Hegseth added that Iranian leadership and fighters from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps now face a stark reality in the skies above them.

“Looking up, the IRGC and Iranian regime only see two things on the side of aircraft: the stars and stripes and the Star of David,” he said.

The remarks come as the United States and Israel continue a sustained military campaign targeting Iranian military infrastructure and leadership.
