Lawler Joins Rockland Leaders, Law Enforcement for Passover Security Briefing Amid Antisemitism Concerns
ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. (VINnews) — U.S. Rep. Mike Lawler joined community leaders and law enforcement officials in Rockland County on Thursday for a security briefing ahead of Passover, as Jewish families begin preparations for the upcoming holiday.
Lawler said the meeting focused on ensuring that local communities can celebrate safely during the holiday period. The briefing brought together local leaders and law enforcement agencies to discuss security measures and coordination.

“I’m grateful to everyone working to ensure our communities can gather and celebrate safely,” Lawler said in a statement following the meeting.
The Republican congressman also addressed concerns about rising antisemitism, emphasizing the importance of community unity and vigilance.
“At a time when antisemitism is heightened, it’s more important than ever that we stand together and make clear that hatred has no place in Rockland County or anywhere in our country,” Lawler said.
