Republican Clay Fuller Poised to Replace Marjorie Taylor Greene in Congress, Signaling Shift to Pro-Israel Voice

ATLANTA (VINnews) – Clay Fuller, a veteran and district attorney, is emerging as the likely successor to Marjorie Taylor Greene in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District, potentially replacing one of the House’s most outspoken anti-Israel Republicans with a lawmaker who has voiced strong support for Israel.

Fuller led all Republicans in the all-party primary for the seat, securing about 35% of the vote. Although he narrowly trailed Democrat and military veteran Shawn Harris in the overall tally, political observers expect the Republican vote to consolidate behind Fuller in next month’s runoff election.

If elected, Fuller would succeed Greene, whose tenure in Congress drew frequent criticism from pro-Israel advocates over her positions and rhetoric on Israel-related issues.

Fuller, who previously served in the military and now works as a district attorney, has publicly emphasized his support for Israel and for recent U.S. military strikes targeting Iran.

“President Trump tried the peace route with Iran not once, not twice, but THREE separate times — and they refused. He’s the peace President, but you can’t negotiate with a death cult,” Fuller wrote last month on the social media platform X, referring to Donald Trump.

Fuller added that during his military service he supported operations against Iran and noted that Iran’s regime and its regional proxies have been responsible for the deaths of many Americans.

Georgia’s 14th District, a strongly Republican area in the northwest part of the state, is widely expected to favor the GOP nominee in the general election, giving Fuller a potential path to Congress and positioning him as a new pro-Israel voice on Capitol Hill.
