Watch: Three wounded in Iranian missile strikes in Bnei Brak and Tel Aviv
TEL AVIV, Israel — Three people were wounded Sunday after missiles launched from Iran struck central Israel, damaging buildings and vehicles in separate locations, emergency officials said.
In Tel Aviv, paramedics from Magen David Adom treated two men in their 50s who were lightly injured at an impact site. Police said several vehicles caught fire in southern parts of the city following the strike.
In the nearby city of Bnei Brak, a man in his 60s was moderately injured by shrapnel after what authorities believe may have been a cluster-type missile struck multiple locations, causing damage to residential buildings.
Red Alert sirens sounded across central Israel ahead of the attacks, including in the densely populated Gush Dan region as well as communities in Samaria, the Shefela, Sharon, Yarkon and Lachish.

The Israel Defense Forces said Home Front Command search-and-rescue units were deployed to the impact areas to assist civilians and assess damage.
“The Home Front Command calls on the public to adhere to all directives — these instructions are proven to save lives,” the military said in a statement.
The report said Iran has also launched hundreds of missiles and drones toward other regional targets, including the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait, as part of a broader regional offensive.
Israeli officials said the military has struck more than 7,600 targets during the campaign, many tied to Iran’s missile program, while the United States has carried out more than 5,500 additional strikes in the region.
