The latest barrage launched late Monday morning from Iran toward central Israel left ten impact sites in several locations. Seven of them were in Rishon LeZion, while additional impacts were identified in Shoham, Lod, and near Highway 431, following the impact of a cluster missile that caused damage in several areas.

Inside one of the apartments in Rishon LeZion, a 27-year-old woman named Li found herself in a dangerous situation while staying in a reinforced safe room (Mamad) during the strike.

Her father, Yaron, described on the Walla news site the dramatic moments when she called him in panic asking for help. “I was two blocks away from the house,” he said. “I’m a renovation contractor, and suddenly she calls screaming: ‘Dad, come, come, I can’t breathe.’ She was in the safe room and I realized something serious had happened.”

According to him, he rushed to the scene even before the rescue forces arrived.
“I drove like crazy. I got there before anyone else and entered the house. The doors were already broken and the entire entrance to the house was damaged.”

Yaron said the path to the safe room was blocked because of the strike. “All the access to it was filled with rubble. She was shouting from inside: ‘Dad, I’m running out of air.’ I got strength from G-d and managed to reach the door and clear the way. In the end, I managed to get her out of the safe room.”

According to him, due to the heavy damage to the apartment, the family may have to leave the home. “The entire entrance to the house was damaged. We’ll probably have to evacuate the apartment,” he said.

Meanwhile, Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh) reported that three women injured in the latest barrage arrived at the emergency department: a 30-year-old woman who was wounded by shrapnel and is in light condition, and two additional women, aged 73 and 79, who were injured while on their way to a protected space and are also in light condition.
